9am - 530pm
EVERYDAY
**Sicamous Beach Pedestrian Access is open evenings starting at approx 530pm, and open every Sunday (unless otherwise posted)
Weather - the ferry will not run in inclement or dangerous weather. We will do our best to post updates but if its raining, thunder, lightening or high winds, the call will be made to stop service until weather clears.
Please be patient as we work through demand and peak times, schedules may change - this is a volunteer group in a pilot project year.

The Sicamous Ferry Society non-profit group has a vision & mission to:
- Facilitate Access: Provide a free ferry service from the Martin Street Boat Launch to the Sicamous Beach Park, as well as across the Sicamous Narrows Channel to enhance accessibility to the Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail (SNORT).
- Promote Tourism: Create a unique tourism experience that attracts local residents and visitors to the Sicamous area.
- Support Local Economy: Foster local economic growth by connecting users to local businesses and recreational opportunities.
- Enhance Community Engagement: Encourage community involvement through volunteer opportunities and partnerships with local organizations.
- Environmental Stewardship: Promote environmentally friendly transportation options that reduce congestion and improve safety for trail users.
- Recreational Development: Support recreational activities by providing safe and efficient access to outdoor trails and water-based activities.
- Safety and Accessibility: Ensure safe transportation options that bypass hazardous areas, improving overall user experience on the trail.
