Sicamous' new free pedestrian ferry is transporting passengers back and forth from 9am - 5:30pm until September 30th. It travels through the Sicamous Narrows with pickup/drop off points at the Martin Street Public Boat Launch, the Sicamous Beach Park and the Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail.

Keep an eye on the waterways to spot Hooded Mergansers and Common Goldeneyes. Listen for the calls of White-crowned Sparrows in the fields. Each year hundreds of salmon spawn and travel through lakes and rivers surrounding Sicamous! There are many areas to see salmon close by including Eagle River, Yard Creek, Crazy Creek, Adams River and many more in the Shuswap region.
Sicamous is home to a growing number of hiking, biking and ATV Trails, including the Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail and Owlhead Mountain Bike Park.
There are many local food producers in the Sicamous and Shuswap Areas! You can make a whole day out of driving around to the different farm stands.
